Wie we zijn

Who we are Damaco Group is an international food company with strong Belgian roots. Our story began in 1964 as a small, family-run poultry slaughterhouse in Wielsbeke. Sixty years later, we have grown into a global family business with production facilities in Belgium and our own sales offices or representatives in São Paulo, Dubai, Izmir, Bangalore, Ho Chi Minh City, Warsaw, Atlanta, Singapore, Manila, and Qingdao. We source our raw materials and products from leading poultry producers across Europe and export – directly or indirectly – to more than 150 countries worldwide. Our growth has always been driven by in-depth industry knowledge, a passion for innovation, and the ability to adapt to the evolving demands of the global food market. Today, the second generation of the founding family leads the company. Despite our international reach, we continue to cherish the personal and family-oriented approach that has been at the heart of our business from the very beginning. With more than 200 employees of around 20 different nationalities, we reflect the diversity of the markets in which we operate. This diversity enables us to embrace new opportunities, respond to trends, and create lasting value for our customers and partners across the globe.

Wat we doen

What we do Damaco Group operates through three complementary business units:

Food Processing
At our production site in Oostrozebeke (Belgium), we produce mechanically deboned chicken and turkey meat. With decades of expertise, we are among the global leaders in both quality and technology. Our test center supports customers and partners in jointly developing new solutions.

Food Distribution
We supply a wide range of qualitative frozen products worldwide: poultry, pork and beef, fish, vegetables, fries, and convenience foods. In addition to our Kipco-Damaco brand, we offer strong proprietary brands such as Damaco, Bistro Belgique, Pico, and Al Raed that are particularly growing in MENA, Latin America, Vietnam, and China. Our strength lies in delivering good quality at a fair price, backed by a solid commercial network.

Nutrient Science
This unit is all about innovation and sustainability. Through Empro Europe, we produce high-quality proteins and ingredients for animal nutrition, aquaculture, agriculture, cosmetics, and bio-based applications. STAMAGRO develops peptide-based ingredients in response to the growing demand for sustainable protein sources. DAMAGRO focuses on organic biostimulants that help crops grow stronger and more efficiently. In this way, we contribute to circular and future-oriented solutions.
